1. About Us

GasChain (Pty) Ltd is a registered independent LPG gas reseller and delivery service, based in Midrand, Gauteng. We supply sealed, filled gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers via direct delivery. We do not operate a filling plant or refill cylinders ourselves.

GasChain sources LPG exclusively from licensed and compliant wholesalers, ensuring quality and safety in every exchange.

2. Reseller Disclaimer

GasChain is not affiliated with, nor an authorised distributor of, any specific gas brand (e.g. Afrox, Easigas, Totalgaz, BP, etc.).
We operate as a private, independent reseller and provide filled gas cylinders under a cylinder exchange model.

We only exchange cylinders that are:

  • Privately owned (e.g. Cadac, Alva, or unbranded)

  • In safe, refillable condition (no visible damage or expired test dates)

We do not accept cylinders marked as:

“Property of Afrox”, “Easigas”, “BP”, “Total”, or any other branded supplier.

3. Cylinder Exchange Policy

All gas orders are fulfilled on an exchange-only basis:

  • You must return an empty, acceptable 9kg or 19kg cylinder in exchange for a filled one.

  • If you do not have a bottle to return, an additional deposit or purchase fee may apply (subject to availability).

  • We reserve the right to refuse exchanges for damaged, corroded, or unsafe cylinders.

4. Safety and Compliance

We only supply sealed cylinders that have been safely filled by licensed depots or wholesale suppliers.
While GasChain is not a refilling facility, we comply with local guidelines regarding:

  • Cylinder transport (under 100kg)

  • Safe storage (under the legal threshold for non-licensed premises)

We recommend customers handle and store gas cylinders according to SANS 10087 safety standards.

5. Payments and Delivery

  • All payments must be made securely via PayFast, card, or cash on delivery.

  • Orders are confirmed upon payment or agreed cash transaction.

  • Deliveries are subject to availability and may be delayed during high-demand periods or supplier shortages.

6. Limitation of Liability

GasChain is not liable for:

  • Improper use or handling of cylinders after delivery

  • Delays due to supplier stock issues or transportation disruptions

  • Use of cylinders not sourced from GasChain

7. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate address details

  • Ensure a safe and accessible drop-off point

  • Inspect the cylinder upon delivery
